With the development of mobile communication technology, more and more new communication technologies (like 4G) will be adopted nowadays. Hence, telecom operators have to handle multi system simultaneity and have to face the problem of re-farming spectrum resource for future. For Traditional Multi Band RF Repeaters, most of the manufacturers adopt all-in-one architecture with huge size. Furthermore, it’s impossible to be very easily upgraded in case of frequency re-farming or add new technique in the near future, which will waste operator’s old investments.

Helios® SignalTouch™ Series Multi-Band Digital Pico Repeater is a carrier-grade, consumer-friendly digital smart signal booster that maximizes a subscriber’s indoor wireless experience by eliminating in-building dead zones. It is real cost-effective and intelligent solution to solve the last mile coverage problem, which is adopting SDR (Software Define Radio) technology basis on FPGA & DSP (Digital Signal Processing) platform. It enables on-the-fly filter be changed/upgraded by software without expensive hardware upgrading.

It is connected via coaxial cable to Donor Antenna and Service Antenna, Donor Antenna is placed outside the building where it has easy access to a BTS signal, and the Service Antenna is placed in the building where it can extend radio coverage to the blind area. In fact, SignalTouch will be able to intelligently and automatically senses and adapts to its dynamic RF environment. By continuously monitoring the gain and making real-time adjustments, the system will never overdrive the base station or raise the noise floor. SOC & Embedded architecture enables to delivery significantly improving network coverage with very low power consumption.

• Automatic Gain Control (AGC) continuously monitors path loss and transmit power to deliver max gain
• SOC & embedded architecture enables to delivery significantly improving network coverage with very low power consumption
• Built-in 2G/3G/4G wireless modem (Option) for remote monitoring by SMS or Data Link
• Details repeater parameters and status can be monitoring, such as RSSI, temperature, output power level, gain, ATT, VSWR, PA state and etc
